Tom joined Landmark in 1991, as Director of Sales and Marketing, and has served as president and CEO of the company since 1996. He functions as both the executive and operating officer of the company. Tom has served on many industry boards, including those of the Forum 500 of the ACLI, Texas Association of Life and Health Insurers (twice as Chair), Texas Association of Insurance Officials (once as Chair), and the life and health guaranty associations of Texas and Louisiana. Tom holds a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, and a JD from The University of Houston. He is licensed as an attorney by the State Bar of Texas, and is registered as a professional engineer in Texas (currently inactive status).
